On My Tonsils And Obama’s Budget

by gwolinetz on February 27th, 2009

Where have I been? You are probably asking yourself this question while eating your Multigrain Cheerios. Well, since you asked …

I had my tonsils out. To answer your next question, no, I am not five years old. For certain reasons, it became necessary to remove my tonsils at the age of thirty-two. If I were five, it would have been a hell of a lot easier. For a thirty-two year old guy, on a scale of 1 to 10, the pain is roughly an 11 for two straight weeks. It’s the worst sore throat you’ve ever had for that two weeks. However, the surgery did what it was supposed to do and my quality of life has improved tremendously. And that’s that.

More importantly, how is everyone enjoying our new president? I’ll tell you what: if I had the opportunity, I would open mouth kiss him.

I’d like to link to Five Thirty Eight about the ridiculous press conference surrounding the unveiling of Obama’s budget yesterday. Just to show how bad the press is at doing their job. Also, the next time someone talks about a left-wing bias in the media, please laugh in their face.
